This is the Product version of the tutorial List All Files and Folders in a Google Drive in Google Sheets with Apps Script.

This product contains the full code from the video tutorial along with some added extras:

  1. A simple UI that allows you to copy and paste a folder ID or URL from a dialogue box right in the Google Sheet (No need to access the code)
  2. An option to refresh the last run execution of the tool in the current Sheet Tab. 
  3. Access to Shared Drive.
  4. In Shared Drive, you can choose either the default user (displays the files you created and own) or drive (displays all files and folders in the shared drive that you have access to).
  5. Access to My Drive via the ‘root’ substitution id or leave the input field blank. 
  6. Detailed comments in the code.

  • Now you can either copy and paste in the folder ID or the entire folder URL.
  • To access all files starting from My Drive, you can use the shortcut 'root' or leave the input field blank.
  • For Shared Drive you can now choose to use the default 'user' option (displays all files that are created or owned by you) or the 'drive' option (displays all files and folders that you have access to in the Google Drive).
